This is a wonderful reading, thank you, Gina! As intense as it looks, you made it sound practical and helpful, instead of overwhelming and daunting. I feel more grateful than ever for your words of guidance with this one! I really see how the 10 of swords to the judgment to the king of wands is a classic pattern. I know that if I feel overwhelmed with stress and thoughts, of course I over-catastrophise the world around, and of course I launch into king of wands energy, in the hope of gaining control and clarity! I really welcome the queen of cups as an alternative to this pattern, and I will try to remind myself of life's cyclical nature. There is such wisdom coming out of this month's reading. When you mentioned the tail of the whale and when I looked at the card, I couldn't help but think that it is indeed much safer to dive under a wave, than to jump over it. Maybe the strength of the queen of cups this month will be inviting us to dive deep into what we may feel, where it is no longer as strong and dangerous, and notice the patterns and currents of our emotional and spiritual world. And come out for some air from time to time, maybe with the help of the king of wands, as you so rightly advised!
Couldn't love this comment more!! The impetus behind embracing the King of Wands in search of control and clarity - absolutely my mo when I go to this card. And adore how you talk about it being safer to dive under a wave... what a beautiful image 😍
Oh and Gina, I also wanted to say, as it sounds like you had a pretty difficult month (not just on a world level, but personally too), I hope you're well/better now and wishing you all the very best!

Thank you so much, Mady! Happy to report I’m now enjoying my Queen of Cups equanimity!
