👋 Goodbye, Substack!
follow the migration // enjoy alchemag // year ahead readings coming up...
Hello lovely readers!
I logged onto substack for the first time in about a month to write this post and being back is bringing up a whole wave of feelings.
Firstly, stress! Yeesh, the newsfeed here really is overwhelming! After a hard internet reset which included stepping away from this plaform, I found my mind feeling calm, clear, and inspired. Turns out, a little time away really puts things into perspective! (The most crucial being, I am not made for anything vaguely resembling social media.)
But I’ll get into reasoning later.
Because the second feeling was one of appreciation, nostalgia, and tenderness. I’ve met so many of you here! We’ve created such a lovely little community. And it’s hard to say goodbye.
I’m not, however, disappearing into the ether, never to return again. Most of you have already been receiving my new, updated newsletter Alchemag, now hosted on beehiiv. If not, you know what to do!!
I decided not to migrate paid subscriptions to Beehiiv since I’d paused things over here while figuring out my next steps. That means if you were once a paid subscriber, you’ll have to sign up again. I wanted things to be transparent and to give everyone a chance to opt in with clarity and excitement! So if you’d like to support Incandescent Tarot, do consider signing up for a paid plan. This is a fresh start and there’ll be lots of perks for supporters, along with my perennial and wildly enthusiastic gratitude for those of you willing and able to make this work possible.
I have to say, Beehiiv, despite it’s annoying-to-type name, has been delightful so far. I wanted a space where I could detach from the churn and distraction of a social media platform and focus on sharing: forecasts, interests, and more.
Alchemag has the core of the Incandescent Tarot newsletter but has a broader scope to include musings and recommendations centered around culture, ecology, and spirituality. It has been so much fun to create. And there’s more coming up soon, including:
✨ A community space for subscribers to share, reflect on readings, and connect with one another
✨ Seasonal announcements such as… yes… YEAR AHEAD FORECASTS (I keep saying they’re done but, much like Jake Gyllenhaal in Brokeback Mountain, I just can’t quit them!)
✨ Some very exciting collaborations with other creators and practitioners
I hope you’ll join me in this new space and thank you so much for being a part of this chapter of Incandescent Tarot here on Substack! See you on the other side!
